CUTAWAY

This is the most commonly used backing. It is made from non woven fabric. These are intended to remain permanently beneath the embroidery, providing support for the life of the garment. They provide stability to unstable materials and should be used with fabrics that stretch, such as knits or very loosely woven materials.
